Let us now paint some definitions for the terms “body,” “soul,” and “spirit.” It is essential to know not only the origin of these things, so nebulously presumed to be a part of the entity of self, but also of their function.

Your body, your physical body, with all of its features, systems, organs, and the like, is on loan from the planet and will be reclaimed by her when you die. “For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” It is perishable and recyclable. In alchemical terms, it is called “salt.” The body is your first self.

Your soul is the essence of what makes you, you. It is a subtle force on loan from the “All Planets” realm in the Ray of Creation. Your soul is composed of the refined frequencies imprinted upon you during your formation from the signals of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Sol, and Luna. Your soul is unique to you, and there is not another like it, nor will there ever be. Your soul is the electromagnetic container within which your development begins, your second self. The ancient alchemists called it ‘sulfur.’

The spirit is on loan to you from Sol, our sun. However, it is not unique to everyone – it is the same for all. By analogy, consider that in the human body, each organ is unique; the lungs cannot double as the kidneys, and so on. The blood, however, the energizing force behind the function of the organs, is the same throughout. Similarly, each human soul is unique and cannot perform the function of another soul – but what animates humanity is the solar spirit, which is the same in you as in me. The ancient alchemists called it ‘mercury’ or ‘alcohol.’ Consider, too, that the essential oils of various plants are completely different from each other – oregano oil is nothing like mint oil – this is the plant's soul. However, the product of fermentation, ethanol, is the same for all plants; it is the ‘spirit’ of the plant.
